Daydream Island Airport

Daydream Island doesn't have its own airport but it is still accessible by air, as well as car, train or coach services to Airlie Beach which is located on the Queensland Coast. There are two airports that run shuttle services to Daydream Island at either Hamilton Island or Proserpine. The airport at Proserpine in located just 30minutes out of Airlie Beach and a shuttle bus can easily transport you to Shute Harbour at Airlie Beach where you can catch one of the air-conditioned ferry cruises offered by Fantasea across to Daydream Island. Or you also have to option to fly to Hamilton Island, which has flights coming in daily with Virgin Blue and Jetstar from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. From Hamilton Island you can also catch a connecting shuttle ferry with Fantasea Cruises across to your island destination.
