Daydream Island is located just off the Queensland coast of Airlie Beach and is accessible by air, rail, coach or car. Two of the closest airports are Hamilton Island and Proserpine. Hamilton Island has daily flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and one you land you can catch a connect ferry across to Daydream. When landing in Proserpine a shuttle bus well need to be arranged so that they can take you to Shute Harbour which is located on the shores of Airlie Beach. Travelling by car will take you approximately 12 to 13 hours from Brisbane and all coach services run trips into Airlie Beach for your convenience.
