Daydream Island is located just off the Queensland coastline, near Airlie Beach. It is accessible by air, coach, car or train. You can fly from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Cairns and choose to land at either the mainland terminal at Proserpine which is about an hour's drive from Airlie Beach, or fly to Hamilton Island as it has its own airport and from here you can catch a connecting fast cat to Daydream Island. Fantasea Cruises run daily trips from Shute Harbour at Airlie Beach and any of the neighbouring islands. All coach services will travel directly into Airlie Beach and drop you at your preferred place of accommodation before making your way over to the island.
